Sunday will come ππ»♥️
I found myself pretty melancholy yesterday as I finally had time to breathe this week. π It’s been a very busy & stressful week for me. Life and responsibilities I have had have pulled me every direction, leaving me drained, emotional, and ragged. π΅π«
Today as I finally had time to stop, be still, & breathe, the tears just came. I found myself crying. That’s usually what happens when life gets a little bit too hard to handle. I completely break down.
I know this life is supposed to be challenging. I know it’s supposed to be hard. I know it’s supposed to be “for our good” & the hard times are supposed to help make us strong. I also know that when the hard times come, and they will, they give us an opportunity to get down on our knees and ask for God’s help. When life is going good, at times we forget to do that as much. We think we can do it all by ourselves, and we do. But you know what? We can’t do it alone. We need God in our lives so desperately.
I don’t claim to know everything, but I do know that no matter how low we feel or how hard life is, that God is watching over us. He’s quietly guiding and directing us as we journey through life. He understands our struggles, frustrations, & pains.
Joseph B. Wirthlin said: “Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays. But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.”
So many times, what I write on these posts just comes. The words flow as my fingers type them. What is said is usually for me, and if these posts help anyone else, that’s just a bonus. ππ» As I was writing this, peace flowed into my heart as the tears began to fall again. I know that if everything isn’t going ok right now, just hold on! My dad always says that the sun will come up and with that, it brings a new life and a new hope with it. ☀️
D&C 122:9 “Therefore, hold on thy way… fear not….for God shall be with you forever and ever.” ♥️
