Change is constant. It’s one thing we can rely on.

CHANGE. One word that has so much meaning.     Change has been on my mind a lot the last couple days. With the passing of my aunt and my grandpa, the changes to the trees outside, and the possible changes in my life, I feel a little overwhelmed.   Have you ever wanted something so badly, and waited for it for so long, that when it actually might come to fruition, you get scared? You start freaking yourself out. Your mind starts to think about all of the changes that could “potentially” occur and boom.  You’re left with worry and your racing thoughts. God is in charge. He knows how our lives will play out. He knows what is going to happen tomorrow, a couple hours from now, and 10 years down the road. Life is all about change. It’s one thing we can expect to happen. Change changes you. It brings about a different kind of growth. A good growth. A growth that is worth changing to have.  I’ve had lots of growing experiences and changes over the course of my 28...

Meditation brings me closer to God 🧘‍♀️πŸ™πŸ»☀️

Image
Mornings for me are a time where I can clear my head, my heart, and my mind. When I put the effort in to arise early, (D&C 88:123-124) I always feel better. I’m able to do some type of exercise, which gets my heart pumping and helps me feel better. Afterwards I meditate, and then I just feel more at one with myself. Mornings are also when I feel inspired to write. πŸ₯° Meditation 🧘‍♀️ has become one of my favorite things to do. I think of it as just some one on one time with my Heavenly Father. I clear my mind, put on some calming music or some type of guided meditation, and just pray. Really talk to God- tell Him EVERYTHING. πŸ™πŸ» In institute last night we read a few scriptures that really stuck out to me. Gods ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. (Isaiah 55) That God really does have all wisdom and all power. That He created everything and everything represents Him. (Mosiah 4:9) And most importantly, He loves each and every one of us. He has a perfect pla...

Newsflash: you’ll never figure life out πŸ€ͺ

Image
New post ahead: πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ₯°  The more time I spend on this earth and the older I get, I’m starting to realize more and more things. Who would’ve thought? Haha The more people I meet and talk with, make me realize that no one, not one single person has a clue what the future holds. 🀷🏻‍♀️They don’t know what their life will look like or what comes next. They might’ve had a plan, but it didn’t go anywhere near how they thought it would go. But nonetheless, they’re grateful for what they’ve learned and where they are now. I don’t know why, but growing up I always thought that at some point, you get to this place of knowing what’s ahead. Of knowing what your life will be like, and of what the future will hold. That you finally figure it all out. 😜 But that’s just not the case. Granted, I was a little sad to find this out πŸ˜… but then I started to feel better because I knew I wasn’t the only one that felt that way.  It’s just not how life works. But this life does give us an oppo...

Strong testimonies & sweet experiences!

Image
A couple months ago, I was messaged on Instagram with an opportunity to speak at a girls camp come August. This sweet soul said she followed me and loved everything I had posted, which was so sweet of her! πŸ₯° I jumped at the opportunity and said “of course! I’d love to speak.” Months passed and last night was my opportunity to speak. I was able to have my dad come with me and we had such a special experience together with these young women. πŸ’• I had prepared a few thoughts that had come to me over the course of the couple months, but asked Heavenly Father to guide me. That I’d say what He would want me to say. πŸ™πŸ» He is aware of these girls.  He knows what they’re dealing with and their struggles.  He knows them, because He loves each and every one of them. ♥️ I felt that love so strongly! My heart was full last night! After I spoke, I stayed for testimony meeting. Boy, were these sisters spiritual powerhouses! I needed to meet these sisters, their leaders, and the prie...

Commune with God ♥️πŸ™πŸ»

Every time I travel, I’m always surprised who else in the world is traveling too. Who’s flying out the same day as I am, who’s going to the same location or different location as I am. Every time I’m around so many people, my first thought is that Heavenly Father knows each and every one of them, just like He knows who I am.   He knows everything about their life. Their likes, dislikes, their struggles, their successes, what their worrying about, what makes them happy, and etc. I’m really grateful that my Heavenly Father knows me, really knows me. I’m grateful that when I pray, I never get a busy signal or a “please try again later” answer. When I pray I have His complete and full attention.  πŸ™πŸ»  He wants to help me in every aspect of my life. What I care about, He cares about.  ♥️ Being single has given me a lot of time to think about my life and what I really want- in life and in my future spouse. The most important thing that I want is that we both have a deep r...

Into the unknown!

Image
New post: Into the unknown!  Save yourself some worry, and read it πŸ₯°πŸ‘‡πŸ» Recently the topic of trust and obedience has come up a lot as I’ve been talking to some of my friends lately. Why they think I’m “good” at that, I’ll never know, πŸ˜… but I am trying my best to be that person- a faith filled, God trusting woman. πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ™πŸ» Amidst all the craziness in the world and all the unknown, for some, It’s hard to find peace and trust God in all the uncertainty. There’s so many reasons swirling around us that make it easy to doubt, question if God is there, or simply find the good.  But trust me, my friends-God is there. ♥️ He is the silent teacher at times during trials, gently reaching forth His hand in times of need, and even sending other people to answer our prayers. πŸ™πŸ» “Into the unknown” has been my theme the last year or so. (Frozen fans anyone? πŸ₯Ά)The meaning and song really hit me and has resonated with me so much. Silly, I know. But God works in mysterious ways....

Life lessons learned πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ–€

Image
Hi friends! How are you? How’s your week been? You’ll definitely want to read this πŸ–€ These thoughts have been on my mind for a while now and I wanted to share them with all of you. πŸ₯° It has been nothing short of a rollercoaster 🎒 since mid April last year. 2020 was and has been, a train wreck for all of us that just keeps to continue on and on. It’s been the hardest year(s) of my life. But it’s also been a place of proving, self discovery, and growth. What year(s) was that for you? It’s easy to be disappointed at God for the things that you want, but don’t receive, or the things that don’t work out the way you want/thought/or think should happen.  It’s easy to ask WHY have all these things happened to me, and what we did to deserve them. Life is tough and harder than I ever thought it would be. But through it all I’ve found out a lot of things about myself, what I’m capable of, how I should and should not spend my time, whats really important in my life, who my true blue f...
