You are loved! ♥️

 Friends, whether you’re single or married, this is for you! 💕


There was a quote that I had heard a couple years ago from a movie. It said “love is just a word, until someone gives it meaning”. Maybe it’s because it’s February, and February always gets me thinking about love. ♥️(Don’t mind me while I go off and daydream 😌)


This morning I was reading my patriarchal blessing, and the word LOVE stuck out to me. The LOVE that my Heavenly Father has for me, the LOVE that my parents have for me, the LOVE that my family has for me, and the LOVE that one day, I’ll have with my future spouse. 


All that LOVE got me thinking. I may not have the love from my eternal companion right now in my life, (and that’s ok!) but I do have the LOVE from my family, the LOVE from my parents, AND the LOVE from my loving Heavenly Father. And boy, am I BLESSED! ♥️


With all of this love, I FELT it so strongly this morning. So strong in fact, that I was moved to tears, because of that loving and gentle reminder that I, Lyssa, me!! Is loved. 😭♥️ And the same goes for YOU. 


You might be thinking, ‘how do you forget you are loved?’ 


Well, I don’t know, maybe some days you just don’t feel like you are. Or maybe some days you don’t see all the love you have around you. Or maybe it’s because you don’t have an obvious special someone in your life. (Which, by the way, should never make you feel less than. Finding a spouse will happen for each of us at the right time, don’t worry! God is in charge and has a plan for YOU!)☺️


Whatever the case is, being reminded of how much I am LOVED and cared for was just the pick me up I needed! 😊 And maybe, just maybe, It’s what you need too. 


You are LOVED and VALUED more than you know, by our loving Heavenly Father. ♥️ He created you, He sent you a Savior, who is Jesus Christ, to atone for your sins, ALL BECAUSE He loves YOU so much.


God didn’t send us here to fail. We were sent here to learn valuable lessons, grow from them, love one another, love ourselves, and prove ourselves worthy to live with Him someday. ♥️


God’s love for us is ALWAYS there, no matter what we do. We don’t have to be anywhere close to perfection to have that all encompassing LOVE. ♥️


So at times when you feel down and sad because you might not have that special someone to love you or you don’t feel loved. Don’t give up! Look around and see all of the other LOVE you have in your life. It’s waiting for you! God is love ❤️

 I recently attended the funeral services of Cason’s uncle that unexpectedly passed away. Even though I didn’t know him super well, he was such a kind man! Tears fell as the talks, memories, and testimonies of his family, grandchildren, and friends were shared. I walked away feeling so uplifted ❤️🙏🏻 it was such a spiritual funeral. I think that’s the point, when loved ones pass, is to get you to reflect on your own life and the people around you. I felt so much love that day-So much care and concern that God is aware, He is in control, and He knows what we are all going through! I know God has a plan for each of His beloved children. I know He loves each and every single one of YOU! Yes, YOU. I know that not a tear falls that He doesn’t know about or of a hurtful thought that was said to you. He celebrates the good times and is there for us in the bitter times. He finds joy in the things that make us laugh and in the people we help along the way. He truly is our biggest fan and cheer

LIVE ☀️

  New post: I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting recently and realized that it’s been a while since I’ve felt inspired to write a new post.  Hardships and loss, like most thought provoking experiences we are all going to get to go through, bring lots of reflection. Loss of a loved one, compassion for those experiencing the loss, and the sorrow and grief that come along, that you don’t quite understand and realize, until you go through it yourself.  Death and change, ironically, make you think and reflect on your own life. The impact you make, the example you set, the kindness you show, the love you give freely, and the acts of service you show to others.  It (hopefully) makes you want you try harder. To be a little better. To love more. To give more. To serve more. To LIVE more. To not let the opportunities pass you by. To spend more time with the ones you love.
