Life update: Change brings growth! πͺπ»♥️
CS Lewis said: “There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” ♥️
Change, like many things in life, is unpredictable. Change is hard. Change is constant. Change is one of those things in life, where we can count on it always happening. Whether it’s a growing opportunity, doing something that seems scary, stepping out of our comfort zone, and feeling tons of discomfort, or being fearful of what is to come. All of these emotions and feelings are what is expected with CHANGE.
But, WHY do we dislike it so much?
Change can definitely be scary. π±It can be disappointing. πAnd at times, it’s not what we want.. well, at least what we think we want.
For me, I try to look at the changes in my life, as opportunities for growth. Asking myself (and Heavenly Father) what I need to learn, and what I need to do to become better. We’re not put on this earth to remain the same. We’re here to change and to adapt and become the new and improved version of ourselves over and over again! Wouldn’t you agree? ππ»
Changes in my life always happen unexpectedly.. but since when is a big change if your life scheduled? π
Many of you know, but I’ve been looking for a job since the end of May. It’s been quite frustrating, especially with the pandemic, because I know I’m not the only one that needs a job. I’ve applied for so many positions, spent countless hours thinking about what I want to be, and I even was going to move out of state to Missouri, but nothing has felt right. Nothing has worked out.. or has it?
The time that I’ve had being jobless the last few months has really been a blessing. I’ve been able to spend more time with my family, do more for my church calling, and be able to slow down.
After months of waiting (somewhat patiently) on the Lord, I have found a job! I never expected to stay in brigham city, let alone find a job here. But Heavenly Father is in the very details of our lives. He has a plan for each of us, He loves us beyond our mortal comprehension, and He sees the end from the beginning. ππ»♥️
I am going to be working as a dental assistant π¦· (among other things) at Haws family dentistry.
Dentistry? You? Yeah… I thought the same thing… my major is communication studies π Dentistry never entered my mind as what I could do..
But! This opportunity came out of nowhere, and if you want I’d love to tell you the story sometime. I felt good about it. I felt like it was the right thing for me to do at this time in my life.
I’m excited and nervous for this BIG change! It’s quite challenging and there is so much to learn, that at times my brain feels like it’s going to explode! π€― Some of it, (ok, most of it )is out of my comfort zone. π But I sure am growing!
I made it through the first week… and I’m completely exhausted π΅ππ» The beautiful thing about life is, sometimes growth moments are unexpected. (Like all of this year especially π ) We really learn more about ourselves and what we are made of. So step up to the challenge and figure out what you need to learn and grow! ππ»

Life has many curveballs, that you don’t see coming. Some come completely from left field, but Trust Heavenly Father, because He won’t ever lead you astray! He will be with you every step of the way. π¦·ππ»πππ»
