You are His child!

This weekend... General Conference is FINALLY here!! Looking forward to this weekend is what has been keeping me going during quarantine. I am so excited to listen to our prophet’s voice and hear the other apostles speak! I am looking forward to receiving some personal revelation for myself and finding out what God wants me to know. I know He can do that for you my friends, you just need to ask! ASKING is where it all started. 

When Joseph Smith asked what church he should join and what he should do, he read James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” So he did just that. He asked.

As I’ve been re-reading some of the accounts of Joseph Smith and the Restoration, I am amazed time and time again with the LOVE that God has for each of His children ❤️ The same Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that Joseph saw in the sacred grove, are the SAME today. I know God hears our prayers, He is in the very details of our lives, and He has a beautifully orchestrated plan for all of His children. Just as He has done for the brothers and sisters before us.

Throughout the scriptures when apostles speak with God, He says their NAME first. Think about that for a minute. He knows your name. He knows what you are going through this very minute in life. He knows what emotions you’ve had this week, how your family is doing, the pain and afflictions you’re bearing, EVERYTHING. 

He has a beautiful plan for you! You are needed in His kingdom. There are specific things that God needs YOU to accomplish. Do you know what those are? If not, ask HIM! You are cherished and loved by Him- He is our FATHER. He loves you so much and wants you to succeed. Don’t be too hard on yourself, and always look to Him. For He surely will direct your path. God is love ❤️

 I recently attended the funeral services of Cason’s uncle that unexpectedly passed away. Even though I didn’t know him super well, he was such a kind man! Tears fell as the talks, memories, and testimonies of his family, grandchildren, and friends were shared. I walked away feeling so uplifted ❤️🙏🏻 it was such a spiritual funeral. I think that’s the point, when loved ones pass, is to get you to reflect on your own life and the people around you. I felt so much love that day-So much care and concern that God is aware, He is in control, and He knows what we are all going through! I know God has a plan for each of His beloved children. I know He loves each and every single one of YOU! Yes, YOU. I know that not a tear falls that He doesn’t know about or of a hurtful thought that was said to you. He celebrates the good times and is there for us in the bitter times. He finds joy in the things that make us laugh and in the people we help along the way. He truly is our biggest fan and cheer

LIVE ☀️

  New post: I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting recently and realized that it’s been a while since I’ve felt inspired to write a new post.  Hardships and loss, like most thought provoking experiences we are all going to get to go through, bring lots of reflection. Loss of a loved one, compassion for those experiencing the loss, and the sorrow and grief that come along, that you don’t quite understand and realize, until you go through it yourself.  Death and change, ironically, make you think and reflect on your own life. The impact you make, the example you set, the kindness you show, the love you give freely, and the acts of service you show to others.  It (hopefully) makes you want you try harder. To be a little better. To love more. To give more. To serve more. To LIVE more. To not let the opportunities pass you by. To spend more time with the ones you love.
