God’s Love ♥️

Gods love

The experiences that I have had in my life thus far have made me who I am. Sometimes I go off the path and make choices I know I shouldn’t make. I come to a realization that what I’m doing is not what I should be doing. I repent and get back on the path. A pathway that is filled with the love from our Heavenly Father. He always welcomes me back with open arms and a smile on His face, even though sometimes I don’t feel like He should. He does anyway and I am once again back in His arms of a never ending love. 

This life is full of surprises, twists and turns, round abouts, and challenges. What we thought we wanted, we soon realize is not what we wanted at all. God knows that. He knows what we want, He knows the desires of our hearts, and He knows how to help you and I to get there. All we have to do is ask. 

I am humbled and feel the love that God has for me, as I am inspired to share my thoughts and feelings about the LOVE that God has for each of us. It’s always there and never leaves us, even when we think we don’t need it. It comes when we might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, heartbroken, unloved, lacking self confidence, and a million other things that come with this life. But it does come. It comes in the form of peace. Of that feeling of comfort and hope that gives you a gentle hug and fills your soul with warmth from a loving Heavenly Father who loves you and I so much, that He would do anything for us. 

From the poem entitled “Footprints in the sand”

One night I dreamed a dream.

As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.

Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.

For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,

One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,

I looked back at the footprints in the sand.

I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,

especially at the very lowest and saddest times,

there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.

"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,

You'd walk with me all the way.

But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,

there was only one set of footprints.

I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you

Never, ever, during your trials and testings.

When you saw only one set of footprints,

It was then that I carried you."

He’s picked me up and carried me so many times and I know that is because He loves me. He loves you. And I can testify that He knows what you and I are going through. His love is always there and we can have it with us and feel that warm hug anytime. He is waiting for us to call upon Him for help or for some courage and strength to get through the day. I know He is listening and cares so much for both of us. He brings us peace and sends us love when we need it most. We are never truly alone because of Him. ♥️
