Seasons of sadness πŸ–€

Image
New Post: πŸ˜πŸ–€πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ«Ά It’s been a while since I have written much, but these words have been on my mind. Some days I’m sad, not happy. Some days I’m overcome with jealousy, not happiness for others. Some days I feel like I failed.. like everyone around me are all moving forward with their lives, and I’m stuck..some days I compare my body, where I am at in life, and everything else to others. I end up asking myself “what I did wrong?” πŸ˜” I know we’re not supposed to put our keys to happiness in others pockets. I know we shouldn’t compare our lives or where we are at verses where somewhere else is, and I know that there is a season for everything and timing, but some days it’s hard. Some days, it just sucks.  Every single person in this world has dark days. Some, more than others. To those of you that do, to you I say hold on. Keep going. Get help. ❤️  To the rest of you that might feel like me sometimes, (which we ALL will feel this way at different times in our lives) keep goin...

Waiting.. πŸ’•

Image
New post! One you definitely won’t want to miss out on reading.  WAITING…. one word that brings so many emotions to my soul. I was a bit melancholy last night as I laid down to go to bed. Thoughts of what I really want to happen that aren’t happening right now in my life flooded my mind. Tears spilled out and for a moment I wondered if what I wanted was ever going to happen and if God really was aware of me.  πŸ˜”  That doubt and despair didn’t last very long, because instantly this post and these words came to my mind. It brought comfort to my heart and made me cry even more, but in that moment, I knew God knew. I knew He was aware of me and has a beautiful plan all for me. I knew that He loves me and He wants me to be happy. I knew that He knew I was struggling. That I was sad and discouraged.  Friends, sometimes He has us wait. I don’t know why- heck I don’t know a lot of things. But one thing I do know is that God is listening. He sees all, and He is continu...

I stand all amazed 🀍✝️πŸ™πŸ»

This Easter week has hit me so much stronger than any other Easter before. I feel such a greater appreciation for my Savior Jesus Christ and all that He endured for me. It really has become a Holy Week.  🀍  I have been humbled as I have put more of an effort into thinking more about my Savior and friend. He willingly suffered in the garden and hung on that cross for me without a second thought. I am overwhelmed with how much love He has for me, what that means for me, and how it brings peace to my soul.  I think a lot of times in life we go up and we go down. We do what we’re supposed to do and then sometimes we don’t. We choose the right, then we become complacent, and then we repent and get back to doing what we know is right. It’s this cycle. We’re constantly changing, we’re constantly becoming different, and (hopefully) we are learning and becoming better.  The whole point of this life is to improve-to strive to become a better person, day by day after ea...

Be the good you want to see 🀍

Image
Just a few thoughts that have been on my mind the last couple of days that I wanted to share with all of you. πŸ₯°  Each time I meet a new person and feel their light and goodness, my mind immediately goes to how much God loves each and every one of His children. 🀍 We each have different talents, abilities, weaknesses, strengths, and unique personalities that make the world a happier place to be. We are all different, but at the same time we are all the same too. We’re living breathing human beings. We experience sorrow, joy, happiness, love, anger, jealousy, confusion, and so many more emotions every day.  Each of us will have to walk through our own dark and treacherous deep valleys and ravines to get to the top of the most beautiful and rewarding mountain. ⛰πŸŒ„However as hard as the journey may seem, and when those thoughts of doubt come, just keep moving forward. You are stronger than you think and you’ve got this! πŸ‘ŠπŸ» This world is definitely not a perfect world, nor...

A season for renewal πŸͺ΄

Image
New post!   This season is a time for renewal: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” (Ecclesiasties 3:1) πŸͺ΄   Ever since my Instagram got hacked, I honestly haven’t felt very inspired to write. I feel like the inspiration I usually receive, when it comes to my blog, usually comes quick and I can’t seem to write it down fast enough. But as of late, I just haven’t felt inspired-  😞 until I was walking up to my door the other day and spotted some green little plant life popping out of the ground.  I stopped and paused to take a photo and the thoughts that began to swirl around my mind were thoughts of renewal, strength, and peace.  πŸ•Š  By definition renewal means to “give fresh life or strength to; revive.”  Each spring the plants  🌱  come to life again! And just like you and I, each Sunday we have the opportunity to renew ourselves. To renew the covenants we have made with God. To use Jesus C...

God’s love and His attributes ♥️

Image
After watching a video that I saw on social media, my heart began to hurt for this person and their struggles. If the God I know and the God they know, loves us all so much, then surely He still loves us no matter what. No matter what path we go down, No matter what choices we make, and as long as we’re happy, because He wants us to be happy.  ♥️ Each of us have our own paths we travel down. Different valleys and hills we experience, and valuable, specific knowledge especially for us that we gain along the way.  I know each of you are so LOVED by and BELOVED by our Father in Heaven. I know God speaks to His children and that love He has for us NEVER changes. No matter what we do!  The words/attributes that come to my mind when I think of the God that I know are; kind, compassionate, full of grace, full of love, genuine, forgiving, thoughtful, just, and a good listener. He always has our hearts desires at the top of His priority list.  We, His children are His ...

2022 Here I come!

Image
New post! πŸŽ†πŸŽ‰πŸ€© I can’t say that I’m sad that 2021 is gone. ✌🏻 This year has been another crazy year in the school of life. I’ve had 2 (now 3 πŸŽ‰)  jobs where I gained valuable experience of what I want and what I don’t want for a job and how I wanted to feel and be treated, I had plenty of interviews, lots of rejections, wrote a lot on my blog and had days where I have walked through deep water as Joseph Smith has said. I even turned 29- can you believe it? Yeah, me neither. πŸ˜…There have definitely been happy and sad times, visiting new places, losing loved ones, taking chances, and making memories with those that I love. ♥️ Through it all, these life lessons were for me specifically to learn and grow from. πŸ™πŸ»I am so grateful for each trial and tribulation that I have had to pass through. I’m grateful for the friends that have been by my side, the many prayers said in my behalf, and the new friends I have made this year. πŸ₯° Life doesn’t go how you think and or expect. Cra...
